CREATING HOME FOLDER

WHAT IT IS ?

Home folder is the centralized location for the user files or data.
Home folder makes it easier for an administrator to back up user files by collecting all users files in one location.

  • In Active Directory User and Computers, open the properties of U1 users and click on Profile tab.
  • In Home Folder, select Connect and select any drive letter and enter the UNC path (\\SYS1\HOME\U1)
